Ήταν μια μεγάλη βραδιά κατά την οποία τιμήθηκαν τα μεγαλύτερα ονόματα της latin μουσικής σκηνής. Τα Billboard Latin Music Awards για το 2014, φιλοξενήθηκαν στο BankUnited Center στο Miami, με το show να ανοίγει με τον Mark Anthony και το κοινό να τρελαίνεται.
Ο δημοφιλής τραγουδιστής έκλεψε την παράσταση και έφυγε με τα βραβεία “TopLatinAlbumsMaleArtistoftheYear” και “TropicalAlbumsArtistoftheYear για το ‘3.0’. Ανέβηκε αρκετές φορές στη σκηνή για να παραλάβει βραβεία, να τραγουδήσει αλλά και να δείξει τις χορευτικές του ικανότητες στη salsa. Ο καλλιτέχνης αφιέρωσε επίσης ένα από τα βραβεία του σε έναν από τους πρωτοπόρους της salsa, Cheo Feliciano που έφυγε από τη ζωή την περασμένη εβδομάδα.
Η ατμόσφαιρα παρέμεινε εκρηκτική, όταν στη σκηνή ανέβηκε ο Enrique Iglesias και ερμήνευσε το καινούργιου του τραγούδι, Bailando. Φωτιές on stage άναψαν οι Wisin και SeanPaul που παρουσίασαν ένα reggeaton και dancehall mix για το τραγούδι τους, Baby Danger.
Συγκίνηση μεγάλη προκάλεσε η παρουσία του Andrea Bocceli στη σκηνή, για να ερμηνεύσει το κλασσικό κομμάτι Perfidia σε δική του απόδοση, ενώνοντας τη φωνή του με την διεθνούς φήμης Ιταλίδα Laura Pausini.
