Emma Stone: Αναδείχθηκε ως η καλύτερη ηθοποιός της χρονιάς στα Critics Choice Awards

Τα Critics Choice Awards 2024 επέλεξαν τη νικήτριά τους για την καλύτερη ηθοποιό της χρονιάς: την Emma Stone. 

Η ηθοποιός βραβεύτηκε την Κυριακή 14 Ιανουαρίου για τον ρόλο της ως Bella Baxter στην ταινία Poor Things του Γιώργου Λ΄΄ανθιμου. Ξεκίνησε την ομιλία της αποδοχής της λέγοντας ότι ήταν σε «πλήρες σοκ» για να λάβει το βραβείο. «Αυτό είναι εντελώς τρελό», είπε.

Μιλώντας για τον ρόλο της όπου υποδύεται μία γυναίκα που αναλαμβάνει τον εγκέφαλο ενός βρέφους - αστειεύτηκε για την επιρροή των κριτικών στη βιομηχανία. «Το να παίξω την Bella ήταν μια από τις μεγαλύτερες χαρές της ζωής μου. Έπρεπε να ξεμάθω πολλά πράγματα παίζοντας την. Ξεμάθαινα κομμάτια της ντροπής και της κοινωνικής ουσίας που μας ταλαιπωρεί και συνεχίζω να δουλεύω πάνω σε αυτό», είπε. .

Τελειώνοντας με ένα αστείο, ο Stone πρόσθεσε, «Αυτά είναι τα Critics Choice Awards - και αφορά την εξωτερική γνώμη - είμαι πολύ ευγνώμων στους κριτικούς για αυτό. Αλλά απλώς μαθαίνω να μην με νοιάζει τι σκέφτεστε».

Ο Stone τίμησε επίσης τις άλλες γυναίκες που ήταν υποψήφιες στην κατηγορία - ονομάζοντας προσωπικά τη Lily Gladstone, η οποία ήταν υποψήφια για το Killers of the Flower Moon, τη Sandra Hüller για το Anatomy of a Fall, την Greta Lee για το Past Lives, την Carey Mulligan για το Maestro και τη Margot Robbie για τη Barbie.

«Αυτό δεν έχει κανένα νόημα, έτσι», είπε για την κατάκτηση του βραβείου. «Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για αυτό, σημαίνει τόσα πολλά για μένα. Δεν ξέρω τι να πω»

Η νίκη της Stone's Critics Choice Awards έρχεται λίγο μετά τη νίκη της στις Χρυσές Σφαίρες του 2024, όπου η σταρ κέρδισε το βραβείο της καλύτερης ηθοποιού ταινίας σε κωμωδία ή μιούζικαλ.

Η Stone ήταν ανοιχτή σχετικά με το γιατί την τράβηξε ο ρόλος της Bella, εξηγώντας ότι «Αισθανόταν σαν αποδοχή του τι είναι να είσαι γυναίκα, να είσαι ελεύθερη, να φοβάσαι και να είσαι γενναία. Καταλαβαίνει τι σημαίνει να είσαι μέλος της κοινωνίας», πρόσθεσε η ηθοποιός.
